Today we are learning to….solve problems using equations and making up questions on the mini whiteboards for our classmates. Mia1 p96 Q4,5,6,8,10. 

Today we are learning to….. solve equations using balance scales! Working in groups we used weights and scissors to create an expression for the weight of the scissors and then solved it algebraically and using the scales. We took it in turns to create problems for the other members of the group.

Today we are learning to…. solve equations using the balance method. Mia1 p93 Q1,2,5. Illustrated more complex equations using scales and weights.

We also looked at how to use the”My Maths” homework site and set homework for 3rd Nov.
