Today we are learning to calculate the length of a pace. We went outside to measure 100m using a trundle wheel.  We then retraced our steps, counting our paces. In class we calculated the length of a pace in cm. to 1 decimal place.

We defined the diameter of a circle, measured given circles and drew circles of a set diameter. MIA1 p106 Q5,6,7 and p107 Q2.

We found out how to use a mileage chart and maps to find the distances between towns.

Discussed what stationary points are, and how we can use them. Looked at how to find them via an example.
