Describe the ‘pattern’ for each of the above.  Is there an easy way of working out the 100^th term in each sequence?

Smarties Investigation – Experimented to investigate the probability of picking a blue smartie out of a tube at random.
Drew bar graphs to show the results and then calculated individual probabilities before comparing these to the class answer.

Discussed chance, and thought of words that could be used to discuss the chances of something happening. Used the terms Impossible, Unlikely, Even Chance, Likely and Certain to describe the chances of things happening.

Today we are learning to… use the results from our probability experiments. We looked at our actual results, expected results and discussed how we could improve the experiments. We also looked at how to measure probability. MIA1 p224/225.

Unit 3 Assessment.
