Today we are learning to … create a physical equation.

Pupils worked in pairs.  Each pair were issued balancing scales, 5g, 10g and 20g weights and three pairs of scissors.  They had to:

Put the scissors on the scales. 

Add weights to each side until it is balanced.

Use your scales to help you solve the equation.

Today we are learning to … improve our responses to problems.

Handed back NABs.  In groups, students tried to do corrections.

I went over questions.
