Today we are learning to…find a percentage of something. Now we know “easy” percentages we can find things like 15%  of 80Km by calculating 10%, then dividing by 2 to get 5% and adding the answers. We tried some examples on the board.

Today we are learning to…. understand percentages. Percent means “out of 100″. We will learn common percentages and be able to change fractions to percentages and the reverse.
